The Morayfield Marketplace development comprises three lots at Morayfield, approximately 45km north of Brisbane. These lots form a site that is 38,000m2 (3.8 Ha) with a total road frontage of 165m.
The project is well-advanced in the development process. We have development approval for a mixed-use commercial development at the site, which will include a full-line supermarket, petrol station, a large specialist medical centre, specialty retail stores, childcare, commercial tenancies, and 12 house and land package residential dwellings.
Morayfield has been targeted for development due to its dramatic transformation from semi-rural to medium density housing. Two major land developers in and around Morayfield are in the process of transforming the area, adding significant increases in population through the development of 20,000 new homes over the next decade.
An Economics Needs Assessment has been prepared by leading national statistical and demographic data research company Location IQ. This report has confirmed that the commercial development is viable and has determined the best mix of tenancies for the development.
Morayfield Marketplace is set to become one of the biggest convenience centres in the area and will provide important services for the growing local population. The total development value of the Morayfield Marketplace project is $51M.
