Project Overview

The Bahrs Square development is situated in Bahrs Scrub, approximately 40km south of Brisbane.

Adpen is delivering a 150 place Childcare Centre for the community.

Bahrs Scrub has been targeted due to its dramatic transformation from semi-rural to medium density housing. Major land developers in the area are delivering homes for young families and there is a huge demand for new amenities like our childcare centre.

An Economics Needs Assessment was prepared by Location IQ, Australia’s leading statistical and demographic data research company. This report confirmed that there is a significant shortage of some 350 childcare places in the area.
