I quit my job at age 26 and was a genuine property development multi-millionaire in just three years.
I no longer need a job. I don’t need a boss. I don’t need to care about all the things that most people worry about.
How did I do it?
I’m about to tell you exactly how you can become a millionaire in three years.
I Spent Money… A Lot of Money on Education
Property has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I remember building model houses with paddle pop sticks. I used to measure my room with a tape measure, draw up plans and rearrange the room.
It only made sense for me to become a property developer.
After graduating university as a civil engineer, I attended a free property seminar. During the event, the guest speaker stood up and claimed that you can buy property with no money down.
Her course inspired me to spend over $30,000 on property training courses in eight years. These courses allowed me to move past paddle pop sticks and complete 14 development projects across Queensland. Everything I have learned has served as the foundation to my success.
There’s a great quote by Napoleon Hill that has inspired me throughout my property journey:
The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge
Never underestimate the value of education. The more you invest in yourself, the greater your successes.
I Found a Mentor That Pushed Me
All successful property developers and investors have one thing in common – they have a mentor.
But finding a good mentor is challenging. Even below average investors look like geniuses after the recent property boom.
I was lucky to find a mentor that inspired and educated me. A good mentor:
- Invests their time, knowledge and energy in you
- Inspires you to learn and work hard
- Cares about you as a human being
- Wants you to succeed
I Developed Persistence and a Can-Do Attitude
Life is easier when you relax and do nothing. The idea of failure is unbearable to most people.
But if you want success and wealth, you need to become a person of action.
A person of persistence.
Regardless of your situation, always maintain a positive mental attitude. Keep your thoughts focused on taking action towards your goals.
